On the opportunity of the presentation of the documentary Plot for Peace at the Galway Film Festival, we discovered the enigmatic “Mr. Jacques” linchpin of the liberation of the South African leader. By retracing the events that marked the end of apartheid with hostage releases and diplomatic meetings, the documentary shows how the peace process has been carried to completion.
